Membership

New members must be nominated by two current members and voted to membership at a meeting of the Club. This process is generally routine. The new member nomination form is available from the secretary, and if you come early to a meeting you should be able to persuade two members to nominate you. Nominations are read at one meeting under "new business", and election of members happens as "old business" at the following meeting.

Membership dues are $25 annually, or $5 for full time students.

Dues are used to support the other activities of the club; for example, they pay for speakers' expenses and for the refreshments served at meetings. In the past, a subscription to Psyche was a benefit of membership, but as publication of Psyche is stalled, there are no subscriptions to it at this point.
